It is naturally occurring in citrus fruits and is entirely gluten-free. The preservative benzisothiazolinone is a biocide used to prevent bacterial growth; it is a synthetic chemical compound and poses no gluten risk.

Finally, the product contains fragrances and nitrogen. The fragrances are proprietary blends of synthetic aromatic compounds. While some perfumes historically used grain alcohol as a solvent, modern industrial fragrances typically use synthetic ethanol or other carriers. The nitrogen is simply a propellant to push the liquid out of the can. None of these ingredients are flagged as containing gluten or being at high risk for cross-contamination during manufacturing.
