Our goal

CakeID is designed to help people compare packaged foods using label data. We prioritize clarity, accuracy, and practical shopping guidance — especially for US label formats.

Automation and AI

We may use automated systems (including AI) to summarize ingredients and nutrition facts. Automation is used to organize and summarize data — not to invent facts.

• We avoid medical claims and encourage label verification.
• We highlight uncertainty when a conclusion is best-effort (e.g., “soy not listed”).
• We noindex or avoid publishing pages that have too little data.

Corrections

If you notice incorrect data, please contact us with the product link and a photo of the label. We’ll prioritize fixes for high-traffic pages first.
